Charming private cabin on seasonal stream

This wooden cabin has a vaulted wooden ceiling and bamboo floors. Camp Creek flows past the deck to the Siuslaw River. Beautiful tranquil forest vistas are there to inspire you to write your novel. Inside amenities are brand new, including a Wi-fI dishwasher, oven, washer and dryer, microwave, wall-mounted swivel TV, and a ductless heat pump. A spacious bathroom has a glass shower, toilet, and vanity basin with large mirrors. There is a beautiful cedar deck with gas BBQ, railing, and two gates.

Walk a wee bit further to Exploding Whale Park and enjoy sitting on the river’s beach for a picnic or take a short drive to Heceta Beach for the day.

We are located 2 miles from the entrance to the Mary's Peak recreation area, the highest spot in the coast range. During winter, there is usually access to snow, only a 15 minute drive from our cabin to the top of Mary's Peak. Alsea Falls is a 25 minute drive. The coastal town of Waldport is a 45 minute drive, Oregon State University is a 20 minute drive away, and University of Oregon is 1 hour south of us. Cabin is on our private property where we live as well.

A River Cottage for Every Season

The Riverview Cottage is a little slice of heaven. Unbelievable views from every window; even on a rainy day, you'll catch yourself frittering away the time staring up river, or at the surrounding coast range mountains. Truly heaven on earth. This is the place to get away from technology and reconnect with nature. The Cottage is one of three houses on the property, and can sleep up to four people.

Off-street parking in driveway only used by people renting this studio. 15 minute drive to the University of Oregon and downtown Eugene. One hour drive to the ocean and mountains for skiing. Many beautiful waterfalls and gorgeous hiking trails within an hours drive.
