We are thrilled to host guests at the newly renovated Water's Edge Cottage -- a serene oasis offering what may be the best views on the Potomac. The rural charm of St. Mary’s County is among Maryland’s best kept secrets -- 90 minutes but a world away from Washington DC (with no Bay Bridge traffic!). We are near historic Leonardtown, boasting one of Maryland’s few remaining town squares (we affectionately call it “Mayberry”). And be sure to visit our sister property, White Point Cottage!

"The Townsend" - Hot Tub!

On the way to The Townsend, you'll pass roadside farmstands and open fields. This meticulously restored farmhouse, located on the Cohansey River, features waterfront views in every room in the house so you can unwind, reflect and enjoy the company of family and friends. Outside you'll find a fire pit, hot tub and large field, perfect for outdoor activities. A quick 3 mile drive takes you to the historic town of Greenwich. The Peaceful Nook

The Peaceful Nook, built by Zook Cabins is the perfect place for a romantic getaway, or a peaceful time in nature. The A-frame is one of the best glamping experiences you will find! With heat and AC, a luxurious bed, kitchenette, hammock, rain shower, bath house, sauna, flat top griddle, fire pit (firewood included) chairs under the stars, and the unparalleled connection to nature - Robes also provided! What better way to spend a few nights to fully re-energize yourselves!
