You will have a 5 minute walk to the beach, a 5 minute drive to Ballyconneely village and a 10 minute drive to the seaside village of Roundstone. Family friendly, good wifi, Smart TV, ample outside garden space in the most amazing surroundings. The perfect, comfortable base for exploring Connemara and beyond.

Staying at Waters Edge is the perfect place to relax, wind down and breath the clean fresh Atlantic air, whilst enjoying stunning views across the bay. Located metres from the seat front, with steps down to the beach, just over 1 kilometre to Ballyconneely and also situated between the picturesque towns of Clifden and Roundstone. Possibly one of the most beautiful views and locations overlooking Dogs bay beach and sitting at the foot of Errisbeg hill, 6 minute drive from the picturesque fishing village of Roundstone. Surrounded by some of the most beautiful scenery on the west coast of Ireland. Looking out across the Atlantic Ocean at the Aran islands, gurteen beach and dogs bay beach. Hill climbing to the rear and beach walks to the front of the cottage, there are possibly few locations to compare with this cottage

Clifden, The Barn on the Wild Atlantic Way.

The Barn is a unique old stone barn but modern, with an open plan sitting/kitchen/ eating area with cathedral ceiling and a long narrow window overlooking the Salt Lake to one side, a small window looking down to the sea on the other. There are two bedrooms and a wet room style bathroom (no bathtub) but plenty of hot water and underfloor heating. It is wonderfully quiet, a real retreat for those who just want to escape. Joe's Cottage

Joe's Cottage is a traditional Irish stone cottage situated 3 km from the heart of Clifden town centre. This property is full of character and exhibits many traditional features. The cottage is within a twenty minute drive of many local amenities and beaches. A picturesque public walkway runs beside the cottage and the entrance is only 500m away. If you are lucky enough to get a clear sky we recommend taking some time to view the stars as they can be breathtaking on a clear night.

Little Sea House has spectacular sea views on the wild Atlantic coast in Connemara. Resting peacefully at the end of a private lane, you’ll hear only wind, waves and birds. Relax and watch the light change over the sea, watch the sunset and the stars appear in a sky without light pollution. You have access to the shore with an abundance of scenic walking and beautiful beaches nearby. You are 3 km from the Wild Atlantic Way and near Mace Head which has the cleanest air in Europe.
