A cozy cabin over looking the Manistee River on a very safe & peaceful private drive. There are many launch sites for rafting, kayaking and canoeing nearby. The cabin is centrally located between Cadillac, Interlochen, Frankfort & Traverse City. Snowmobile staging area, Caberfae & Crystal Mt. ski areas, Hodenpyle dam backwaters, North Country & Manistee River trails are nearby. Also with a three night stay we will drop you off or pick you up using your canoes or kayaks. Pictures are current.

2026!! Couples retreat or solo! Even a third person/couch makes into a twin bed..Directly on the Manistee river.....this cabin is semi primitive but has a lot of amenities. Excellent spot for a quiet overnight or weekend !! It’s easy access into the river and is shallow. Great for navigating up and down stream for fishing. Rustic cabin originally built in 1951, less than a mile from Elk Rapids and 12 miles from downtown Traverse City! Boat launches and beaches in every direction. I want to reiterate the rustic aspect. The cabin is old. The tile is marked in places, the carpet weathered. The places has..character.
