A NEARBY BRIDGE IS CURRENTLY UNDER REPAIR. After walking down several stone steps, nestled among trees and flowers, you will find a cozy guesthouse filled with a comfortable lounging area, and a quaint bedroom. Then exit to the back deck and spend time sitting by the fish ponds, you can venture onward to explore the Secret Garden where you may spot different butterflies, birds, and even friendly bees. Enjoy the early morning (and sometimes all day) sounds of ducks, geese, turkeys and cattle . Surrounded by acres of Redwood trees, no street lights, and lots of wildlife. The Red Barn Cottage is located within walking distance of the Victorian village of Ferndale. The Cottage is a charming, separate studio with a private entrance, gated patio, full kitchen and bathroom.
