Two renovated old buildings have been converted into a quiet, one bedroom, self contained Garden room. In the centre of Slingsby village, you are well placed to explore the beautiful surrounding areas of Yorkshire. A modern kitchen with fridge, microwave and cooker is equipped for preparing delicious meals. A wall mounted television with Netflix is available. The sleeping area hosts a small double bed & wall hanging for clothes, adjacent to which is a bright shower room with heated towel rail.

The property is in a peaceful setting but only two minutes walk away from the village pub and post office/general store. Our cottage was completely renovated in 2021 and is in a great location for walkers, cyclists, and explorers. The village has historic Richard III connections, and is ideally situated to explore York, Castle Howard, the North York Moors or the Yorkshire coast. There is a shop/Post Office, and walking routes right outside the door. There are two pubs, The Castle at the foot of the Green, and The Highwayman, which serves good pub grub.
