If travelling from KEF Airport to Reykjavik area with the flybus, exit in Gardabaer at Aktu Taktu. Ask the bus driver to stop there. From there you need a taxi to Ljosakur or ask me for a pick up. The home is in a great neighborhood that features a nice garden and playground with swimming pools, golf courses and a sports arena nearby. Reykjavik is a short drive away providing access to museums and exquisite restaurants. This is one of the safest place you can find in the city. We recommend to rent a car at the airport (KEF). It's easy to find your ways with a smartphone. If you don't have internet on your smartphone you can use our GPS (Garmin), it's in the apartment in the top drawer under the TV. Swimming pool, hot tubs, gym and golf courses very nearby. Heidmork, one of the most beautiful nature area near the city is nearby. Perfect for walking or cycling. Supermarkets, bakeries, stores and restaurants are near. A new supermaket (Kronan) is in walking distance.

It is very well equipped to make everyone feel at home away from home. Reykjavik centrum is 10 km away. The kitchen has all necessary appliances and cutlery. Our apartment is very cosy, it has beautiful mountain views. The apartment is next to our apartment so we are always willing to help our guests with ideas of what to do :) It is very easy to take both the flybus to Hamraborg from the airport (7 minutes walking distance from the apartment) and also to take the bus downtown or take an electric bike (Hopp) along the seashore to downtown :)
