We're nestled on the edge of Gifford Pinchot National Forest and just a stone's throw from the Little White Salmon River. Close enough to town (16 min to the Hood River bridge), but far enough away to relax and unwind. With a touch of Tolkien, relax in this story book home. Set high upon a dragonfly filled knoll overlooking a pond. Watch the birds, deer,and wild turkeys roam from out the large circular glass moon door. Step outside onto the veranda and take a dip in the wooden barrel hot tub. Stroll the 27-acrewoods and sip tea by the glass mosaic fireplace. Crawl into the cozy bednook and read a book written by JRR Tolkien. Enjoy the silence and the sounds of nature as you've found your fantasy getaway.

This is in the heart of the Columbia River Gorge, with nearby hiking, biking, watersports, boat ramp, & ski areas. Enjoy the numerous wineries and local microbrews in the area.

Cabin 43 on the White Salmon River

Cabin 43 is a new home we built ourselves located right on the wild and scenic White Salmon river. We finished this project (June, 2020) and are excited to share this beautiful place with guests. It features a King bed in 1 room and 2 twin beds in the 2nd bedroom which can be pushed together to make a 2nd king bed. We live in a cluster of 8 other cabins down gravel road in a very serene forest setting with a large field out front and private river side walking trails.

Perched peacefully over a grove of Ponderosas with breathtaking views of the Columbia hills and a majestic Mount Hood, this retreat offers an escape from the bustle of urban life and will lull you into a much needed quietude. Enjoy the starry sky on our spacious deck, or a slow savoring of Pinot from a nearby vineyard.

Coyote Cabin

Coyote Cabin is a very small cozy home in a secluded area of Trout Lake. We are about a half hour from the Columbia River Gorge at the base of Mount Adams. We are close to the beautiful Lewis River falls, Ice Caves, cheese caves, white water rafting along with many trails to hike. The cabin is on our 5 acres along with the main residence. We enjoy meeting our guest but respect your privacy so we stay at our place with our 2 dogs.

Private Guest Suite on the White Salmon River

Private guest suite nestled on the White Salmon River. This rustic 450-square-foot suite includes a queen sized bed, couch, table and chairs. Situated on ten acres of wild and rewilded vegetation, the suite enjoys mountain views and access to the river. Once a museum built to house primitive tools, it has been renovated into a cozy space which integrates original rustic building materials with new amenities and a private bathroom.

Ravens' Nest

Introducing the newest jewel in our crown: The Ravens' Nest opens her Wings to you. This snug riverside bungalow has everything you need. Relax in your separate bedroom overlooking a waterfall year-round. Cook up a storm in our kitchen. Eat at the dinning room table or out on the deck. Finish your evening in the 6 person hot tub.

Mountainview Cabin at the Wildlife Refuge

This beautiful one room cabin is nestled up against Conboy Wildlife Refuge near Glenwood, WA and provides a stunning view of Mt Adams, especially from the hot tub or your comfy bed. Deer, turkeys, and herds of elk are commonplace in this nature's wonderland. Enjoy an outdoor shower after a hike, bike ride, or a day in the woods!
