Áskot Cottages offer self-catering vacation homes located on a Family run Horse Ranch in South Iceland. This property offers landscape views to Vestamannaeyjar, Eyjafjallajokull and view over a field with the farm´s horses. A cozy new private apartment at a family farm in the South of Iceland. Great location for all the main sites in the region. Views of Eyjafjallajökull from the farm, 15 minutes from Seljalandsfoss, waterfall, and 25 minutes from Skógarfoss, waterfall. Only five minutes from the ring-road and 90 minutes from Reykjavík. The family has been running the farm for three generations, with horses, cows and sheep. The apartment consists of a living room, two bedrooms, bathroom and a small kitchen.

Hekluhestar guesthouse

Our guesthouse is built with the idea that it would be similar to the viking houses in the old days, a big open space, divided in three parts. It's nothing fancy but all necessity can be found in the guesthouse. In summer we offer riding tours, short and long, in May we have the lambing season. The guesthouse is close to family-friendly activities and has huge outdoors space. The guesthouse is good for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), big groups, and furry friends (pets)

This traditional Icelandic cabin stands in an open space and offers a breathtaking panoramic view. The location is ideal to see the Northern Lights (September to April 15) and for excursions to many of Iceland's most famous sights: Waterfalls Seljalandsfoss and Skógafoss, Reynisfjara beach, Geysir hot springs and Gullfoss waterfall. A hot tub and BBQ on the veranda. Parking in front of the house. The next village is Hvolsvöllur, where you'll find essential services.
