The historic market town of Ashbourne is the perfect gateway into the Peak District. Starting with the Tissington Trail only minutes from your front door, gorgeous traditional villages and beautiful walks, explore the White Peak before heading North visiting Bakewell, Chatsworth or the Hope Valley. Take your children for a day out to Alton Towers. The caravan offers space on 40sqm and is surrounded by a large decking with great outdoor seating on two sides capturing the sun for most of the day.

The Tree Cabin

The heated tree cabin is set within a small secluded wood up a steep path. Cedar lined, insulated and oak clad it cantilevers out over a remote mill pond. Wake up in a tranquil heaven only shared with shy wildlife, including deer, hare, the odd badger and a variety of birds. In the cabin are a king-size plus bed, table and chairs, kitchen area with induction plate, microwave oven & toaster. Your own smaller tree cabin, a few trees away, houses a flushing toilet and hand basin with spring water.

Dog Friendly Ground Floor Cottage with Shared Pool

What used to be a working farm has now been turned into its own little holiday village. Enjoy the home comforts of a ground floor, one bed cottage, which consists of a kitchen, dining & living area. The bed can be made into either king or a twin with a set bunk beds. En-suite bathroom. Within 10 minute walk of the popular Carsington Water. Dog Friendly cottage accepting up to 2 x dogs, a fee of £30.00 per dog is payable (not included in price). Please ask to see our dog rules prior to booking.

Our hut is designed to the highest of standard, with everything from under floor heating to wireless charging points. From the moment you approach our Shepherds Hut you are greeted with motion sensor exterior lights, open the doors kick off your shoes and feel right at home with warmth from the under floor heating.

Architect-designed The Round House sits just above the Peak District village of Rowsley, boasting stunning views towards Haddon Hall and Bakewell. Walk to Chatsworth House (3 miles) across the fields following the River Derwent. Set in 9 acres of peaceful landscaped gardens with wonderful birdlife - but only a few miles from the market town of Bakewell. Plenty of great walks from the house plus all year round indoor heated pool shared with Woodside Cottage - also at the same location.

Conveniently situated off M1. Close to Derbyshire Dales and Peak District. Equidistant from Derby and Nottingham Cities. Off street parking for up to two cars (or vans) and locked garage for up to four motorbikes. Use of outdoor swimming pool with Endless Pool counter current machine - seasonal June, July, August. Pool may be available outside these months by request for adults who enjoy cold water swimming/dipping. The Full sized snooker table is available for adults only.
