Relax as the sun sets on this acre and a half property of cottage gardens just 15 minutes north of Toowoomba. The countryside views await you. Wake up to the occasional misty morning view from your bedroom with uninhibited views of the valley to the west. Situated a short distance from the main residence you will enjoy privacy plus in the recently renovated cottage. Our guarantee to you is clean linen upon every visit. Dive into the serenity of this unique, off-grid tiny cabin. It’s the perfect spot to unwind, reset and take a breath. It’s a rustic gem, built from repurposed materials, saved from landfill. It’s not sleek, modern or perfect but built with love and a desire to share our off-grid lifestyle and simple farm life. We have the most amazing, relaxing, rejuvenating, outdoor wood fired bath, to soak up nature, the stars and spend time with your loved one. Of course there are cows with long horns too.

Centrally located 5 minutes from the CBD, this detached private guest suite is the perfect stop over for anyone on a business trip, break or just passing through. It’s a simple, comfortable space with everything you need including a kitchenette, en-suite bathroom & air conditioning. It’s separate to the main home with a private entrance. Free Wifi & a light breakfast of cereals, porridge & milk included, along with essentials like a fridge, tea & coffee, microwave, cooking basics, & linen.

Gumnut Cottage

Only 10 minutes from Toowoomba, this off-grid studio cottage gives you an escape in the Australian bush with all the comforts of home. We are located across a tiny creek, up a 1km winding, gravel driveway where the cottage is semi-privately set into the bush. At night, you might see the wallabies munch and bandicoots dig, and if lucky, the possums may come down from the trees for a treat. During the day you may catch sight of a lace-monitor lizard which may come running for a treat.

Eldridge -Little Brick House- Circa 1889

Eldridge -Little Brick House- is my home but now the guest suite allows you to enjoy the charm of this special space. This beautiful little cottage was built in 1889 by bricklayer Albert Egbert Eldridge. Enjoy the gorgeous rustic brick interior complimented by beautiful modern conveniences. Centrally located to inner Toowoomba. Eldridge has had a renovation to make a cosy, comfortable completely private guest space. This is not a large space but has most things you need when traveling.

Scandinavian style apartment in one acre of tranquil gardens, with mature trees full of birdlife. Relax and enjoy our authentic Finnish sauna, a dip in the pool or drinks on the deck! The apartment occupies the lower floor of our home and has a separate entrance and private access to the garden. Located in a peaceful neighbourhood (range-side) near Gabbinbar Homestead, Middle Ridge golf course, local shops and only a 5 minute drive to USQ and 9 minutes to Preston Peak Winery.
