Hannah's Haven is a cozy 2nd floor apartment in my home. My youngest daughter, Hannah, lived here for 5 years. It was her haven, The separate entrance and off-street parking make it an attractive place for guests. In the historic Oakland neighborhood of Topeka, convenient to downtown Topeka, the Capitol, and our 3 hospitals. Nicely decorated, fully equipped for short- or long-term stays, plenty of space for one or two guests. Guests staying more than a month may ask for an additional discount.

First of - Kathy’s Kottage offers a uniquely private, warm and inviting detached cottage. We are not a huge commercial venture, but owned, operated, maintained, and cleaned by hosts who live within 150 yards. The Kottage is our only offering. We charge a cleaning fee of $35 a stay, so there isn't a list of chores at check out. We take up to 4 hours between every stay to extensively clean and disinfect every surface. We are proud of the Kottage as shown in every review over the last four years.

With one queen bed and a queen airbed available upon request, up to 4 people can sleep comfortably in this unit. The unit has been fully renovated and is part of an 18 unit building which was built in 1904. Modern features and amenities have been added to the apartment, the building, and the grounds.

Walk out basement has 2 bedrooms, a family room, a full bathroom and place to prepare meals without a stove. Access is through the back door and patio areas. There’s a low impact elliptical machine in the smaller of the two bedrooms. The private patio area has a grill, umbrella, table, chairs, a fire pit and a couple swing.
