The cottage is set in the grounds of the main house with it’s own drive and parking, garden and small patio. Ideal for those who enjoy walking, cycling and sightseeing and the tranquility of the countryside. Explore the many beautiful beaches and castles in Northumberland and the Scottish Borders. The train station in Berwick has regular trains to Edinburgh (approx 45 mins) and Newcastle (approx 50 mins). A car is essential for getting about as we are 4 miles from Berwick (the nearest town).

The garden is safe for pets and fully fenced. The cottage is a 15 minute drive to Cheswick Sands, one of the most stunning beaches in Northumberland. The cottage is the perfect base for exploring Alnwick, venturing to the Edinburgh Festival or visiting Holy Island. Our local pub is a 10 minute drive in Norham.

Only a few minutes walk away from the railway station, this makes it accessible via train and also an ideal base to explore Northumberland and Edinburgh. On entrance you can make yourself at home in the large open plan living area with a wood burning stove for cosy nights all year round.
