Stunning views reach across the Sound of Mull towards Tobermory on the Isle of Mull and out to sea toward Ardnamurchan Point.

Our house sits at the bottom of a secret track in a private, historical cove on the beautiful Hebridean island of Lismore. Secluded, quiet and peaceful, Port Moluag is within easy reach of the Scottish mainland whilst feeling totally removed from the pace and noise of city life. The house is newly-built using eco technologies to limit its environmental impact and is surrounded by wonderful wildlife such as seals, otters, and a multitude of birds as well as many sites of historical interest.

Inside the well insulated hut, there is a 4’ small double bed at one end, a tiny wood stove, table and chairs, kitchenette and an ensuite shower at the other end. Outside, there is a wood -fired outdoor bath and a wood-fired pizza oven. Treshnish is a working sheep farm, on the coast, nr Calgary Beach, great for walking and exploring.

Am Fuaran Isle of Iona Am Fuaran is situated in Iona Village, beside the Argyll Hotel. Long ago Islanders had Summer houses where people stayed during the holiday season to allow guests to stay in their main residence. Am Fuaran was such a building which has had various tenants over the last few decades. It makes an ideal Summer Bothy. It is a tin building with a concrete floor and although not luxurious it is cosy. It is the perfect private space for a single person or couple.

We’ve ditched the mod cons with no TV & wifi, replacing them with good old fashioned boardgames, a great stack of books and selection of old & new vinyl for the turntable.
