Welcome to The Cabin, our little log cabin at the beach in the Outer Banks. We stumbled on to the cabin and fell in love! Over the course of a year we lived in & renovated this wonderful home. It was our hope to create a space that feels warm, inviting & unique. The final result was a space that we loved sharing with friends and family, and now we are thrilled to be able to share it with our guests. Atlantic Winds Cottage (1968), an original Nags Head bungalow, is newly remodeled! The cottage is on a private street with only two other cottages. (See 2ndwind and Cackalacky Dreamin' to rent together.) Beach access is just 100 yards away, down a secret path just steps from the cottage! Step out on the front porch to chill, read a book or chat with family and friends. The back deck faces the beach with adirondack chairs, picnic table, and a park grill for grilling.

Enjoy a home right on the beach. You can see the ocean from most rooms. Sit on the deck and see your family play on the beach, simmer in the hot tub overlooking the ocean, walk to fish head pier, minutes from restaurants and grocery stores. This is a great beach get away for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets). In season (from April thru September) we only do full week Sunday to Sunday rentals.
