The Maki House-Fully Renovated 1908 Company House

The Maki House in Gwinn, MI, a recently renovated 1908 Company (miners') house, retains its early character with a 21st century industrial vibe. Radiant heat in the floors also provides unlimited hot water to the showers. There is ample parking on premises for snowmobiles and other sport vehicles. Both TVs have streaming apps, subscription to Disney+ is included with the rent. Grocery store four minutes by car, bar/pizza place, a seven minute walk. Various trails converge in this Model Town.

Farm stay at Tonella Farms (between MQT/Munising)

Tonella Farms offers a very private setting and guest suite at a newly established farm. Located 20 miles from Marquette and 30 miles from Munising and Pictured Rocks. Surrounded by forest that is open to recreational activities right out the door (hiking, biking, bird watching, x-country skiing). Only minutes away from Laughing Whitefish Falls and Eben Ice Caves. Snowmobile trail #8 is an easy 1.5 miles south along Dukes Rd, 6 miles on trail to gas in Rumely, plenty of space for trailers.

Bayview

You will think of this 3 bedroom 2 bath house on the lake as your home away from home. Summer brings water sports, grilling and eating on the deck and enjoying sunsets over the lake. Winter months include accessing snowmobile trails from your front door, nearby downhill and cross country ski venues and snowshoeing. Curl up by a crackling fire at days end. Spring brings day trips to beautiful waterfalls. Fall brings hunting to mind. Plenty of wooded areas for bird and deer hunting.

Chocolay River Cabin

Small hand hewn log cabin on Chocolay River. Good fishing, approximately 5 miles from snowmobile and ORV trails. Full kitchen. 1 BR (Q), Full sofa sleeper and 1 bath. Outdoor electric sauna. A fire pit. Washer/dryer. Basic amenities. Full kitchen. There is WiFi but cell service can be very sketchy. Texting does seem to work ok. We do have a cell phone booster there but it still isn’t great. If you need to make a call you can drive about 1 mile out to US 41 and service is good.

Central U.P. / Marquette County home

This home is centrally located in the U.P.. It's right down the street from the snowmobile and ATV trails (trail 8). It's surrounded by lakes and rivers and outdoor recreation of all kinds. It's a 3 bedroom 1.5 bath with central heating and air conditioning. It's got plenty of room for your trailers and toys. Want to bring the kids? There is a park across the street. Whether you're visiting for business or pleasure, this home is the place for you.

The Sugar Shack

🌿The Sugar Shack is a cozy 12x12 rustic cabin tucked into 40 Acres of Northwoods and located 17 miles north of Marquette. Hidden in the foothills of the Huron Mountains, you will be in close proximity to our best hiking trails, waterfalls and beaches. The little town of Big Bay is nearby with a general store, fuel, bar, cafe and restaurant.
