This is an Apartment /Mother in law suite that is connected to my home. You have a separate Front and Back door. One bedroom, Full kitchen, queen bed, and queen sofa bed in the livingroom. Park in the driveway next to my van You might hear the sounds of kids playing next door. Outdoor and Sun porch are shared space that includes a huge in-ground pool, beautiful screened in sun porch, outdoor dining, fire pit, hot tub, and trampoline. The pool closes September 19th will re-open next Summer.

Our home is located out in country just off of I65 outside the historical little town of Franklin, KY. We are located between Nashville (45min), Bowling Green (35min) & Mammoth Cave (55 min). We are surrounded by rolling hills of farmland and horse ranches. It is a log cabin style home on 30 acres. Sit out on the front porch and watch the deer. Play games, read a book. Lay out by the pool (summer). Take a hike or go fishing down at the pond. Get out and explore! Or, you can just rest and relax.

We also have a creek where our children use to play when they were little. Kids can easily play in it when the weather is nice but please be careful on the walls and stones. Cottage sits behind our home (see photo). NOTE- Main house may have large groups. Pool and outside areas share spaces. Near Owensboro, Rockport, Hawesville & Lewisport. There is ONE bedroom which can be made into EITHER two California twins OR one California king -Wifi. We have a Smart TV you may use your Netflix and so on with. Kitchen is well stocked with necessities. Eating/work space is provided. Comfortable recliner chairs. Access to the grounds.

The Bunkhouse at Big Red Stables

There is no better way to experience Kentucky than horseback riding the rolling hills of the Bluegrass. Big Red Stables is happy to offer the Bunkhouse to visitors who want to ride horses, travel to nearby bourbon distilleries, go to the races or events at the Kentucky Horse Park, or just get away from it all on a third generation family farm.
