We are one mile away from The Wise Man Inn - an award-winning pub; 6 miles from Dorset's stunning Jurassic coast and 3 miles from the county town of Dorchester. You will, however, need a car- or bikes! Sorry, no pets and no smoking. No EV charging, yet, but there are many fast charging points nearby.

River Cottage is located in the grounds of Athelhampton House - a Tudor Manor dating back to 1485. Sleeping 6 guests in 3 ensuite bedrooms, River Cottage has a kitchen diner, living room and an enclosed private garden. Dogs are more than welcome. Athelhampton House and Gardens is open to the public all year round - and included in your stay with us are tickets to visit the House and Gardens.
