A quick 15 minute drive gets you right into SV. We are a 5 minute walk to Riparian Area Trailheads and a short drive from the Huachuca Mountains. Sunset Ranch is an acre lot at the far southeast corner of Marathon, TX that backs up to the ranch land facing south that provides unobstructed views of sunrises and sunsets from the 700 sf covered porch. Located 40 minutes from Big Bend National Park entrance, this is a launch point to explore the national park and other parks and communities.

The Casita (large studio type) sits up above Sulphur Springs Valley at 4400', much cooler temps, over looking Cochise Stronghold and the Dragoon Mountains. Secluded, and views galore. Chirachua National Monument, Whitewater Preserve, Fort Bowie, Willcox, good food, wineries, old western town. If you have horses, we have accommodations on our other property for them . Only two pets are allowed. Must have approval from host if more are requested. Pets MUST be listed in booking details.

Ocotillo Casita in Historic Mesilla

Mesilla STR Permit #0830 We've renovated 90-year-old historic structures to create sustainable, environmental friendly spaces with rainwater harvesting, solar energy, electric solar-powered car charger. This renovated adobe casita is the 2nd structure after our main house. The 3rd is a smaller vacation rental called Yucca Casita. We are within 2 blocks of the historic Mesilla plaza with its farmers market, shops, galleries, restaurants, and walking trails along historic acequias (canals).

Off Grid Earth Bag Home

Welcome to my earth bag home located 25 minutes outside of the entrance to Big Bend National Park. The house sits on 150 acres with 360 degree views of mountains, mesas, pinnacles, spires, and buttes. There are walking trails throughout the property. Good luck finding another home with as much love put into it! If the Earthbag home is booked I have a home called “Rammed Earth” over the hill that is a work of art. For some reason with online algorithms this home is not showing up as often.

The property is very much like a botanical garden with fruit trees filling up the back and a wide variety of succulents filling the front. The casita has its own private porch while the property shares two large communal patios with outdoor dining and a fire pit.
