Our camp is off road, off grid, on the edge of the BWCA. 2 cabins, sauna, outdoor kitchen pavilion, fire pit, beach and dock on Fall Lake near Ely. 20 minutes to town, 3 million acres of wilderness out the door. Fish, canoe, swim, explore woods and lakes. Spend your time here or use as basecamp for backcountry trips. See deer, eagles, loons, moose, bear, or hear a wolf howl in the distance. LED lanterns, propane cookstoves and refrigeration, get water from lake, or nearby well. Life on the edge.

Stunning Bark Point Home on Superior's South Shore

One of a kind, open/loft-concept (see pics: it really is open) artisan-crafted lake home on Superior's south shore: paddle in summer/ice hike in winter. Breathtaking sunsets. 300+ feet of private shoreline or short walk to public beach. Great kitchen. Riverwood Hideaway

This off-grid, solar powered hideaway is on the Knife River just a few miles outside of Two Harbors, Minnesota. The cabin itself is loaded with comfort. A full kitchen, propane refrigerator, solar powered lights and a gas fireplace/furnace offer the conveniences of home. There is an outhouse and firewood for the outdoor firepit. You will have to bring your own water for drinking, but we provide hand and dish washing water at the sink. We have coffee with pour over utensils, dishes, spices.

The interior has been newly renovated to include modern fixtures and finishes to an open floor plan that maximizes the breathtaking views of Lake Superior. Privacy abounds with over 7.5-acres featuring a babbling creek, winding path through towering trees, and over 200' of shoreline. Built in 1955, the cottage has been meticulously renovated, inside and out, to highlight original features and the exceptional surroundings. Take your pups swimming in the lake, enjoy a backyard bonfire, venture out for seasonal activities, or stay in and admire the views!
