Camping with Rescue Animals

We are a charity that rescues farm animals from neglect and abuse situations, we have 43 rescue animals for you to come and meet during your stay. Our accommodations offer BBQ’s and fire pits and all the essentials for a peaceful and relaxing time with your getaway. We have cows, pigs, goats, Llama and Alpacas, a turkey named Hector, a peacock named Blue and sheep. Your stay directly goes back to fund our charity and the animals. We are now allowing dogs this year with a $100 damage deposit. 🐾

Up The Creek A-Frame Cottage

Relax in an A-frame Cottage over looking a stocked trout pond surrounded by trees. 20 acres of trails. Fish swim, kayak or canoe in the pond or creek. Watch the ducks, frogs, herons, birds, turtles & a variety of wildlife. Enjoy the stars & roast marshmallows at the camp fire. Fully stocked kitchen, BBQ, wood stove, fire pit and 3 piece bathroom. Welcome to Manitoulin Permaculture! We are an eclectic community of infectiously warm and welcoming humans that are exploring ways of living that nurture each other and the land we share. We recently created a private, lakeside "glamping" space for guests. A queen bed with linens and bedding is provided for your stay. There is a private composting toilet next to your tent.
