In the summer/spring you can enjoy the sun all day long out on the terrace, and experience a beautiful midnight sun. 30 minutes away by car / ferry you will find several grocery stores.

The Blue House - Blokken

A genuine and cozy house from 1900 with an amazing atmosphere and view. The Blue House is an optimal base for hiking, skiing, kayaking, snowshoe trekking and mountaineering. Fishing in the lakes or in the sea is right outside the door. Maps, first aid kit are available free of charge. The house is just renovated, and painted in colors chosen by the “blue city” artist, Bjørn Elvenes. Charger for electric cars is available for an extra fee.

Svolvær -and the Vågan region, has a lot of restaurants, galleries, museums, stores and so on. Some companies can offer different kinds of boattrips and sea-safaries.
