La Magara è un'antica casa costruita alla fine del '700.E' ubicata sulla punta più alta di Civita, piccolo borgo di origini Arbresh, all'ingresso del Parco Nazionale del Pollino. La Magara è composta da 4 camere ampie e fornite di tutti i comfort. Luci calde e accoglienti, vista panoramica, materiali poveri e riusati che rimandano al passato storico degli ambienti domestici. Ogni camera ha mantenuto le sue caratteristiche e ciascuna ha uno sbocco in una strada differente. La Magara offre un'esperienza esclusiva di storia e di costume: dai cibi ai colori, dai silenzi alle atmosfere magiche che gli ambienti offrono. Le colazioni sono la massima espressione della cultura locale. Marmellate e dolci fatti in casa, frutta locale appena raccolta nell orto di famiglia danno il buongiorno. Ottimi ristoranti, passeggiate naturalistiche, sport ed escursioni open air, vita e cultura locale, relax e benessere.

Torre Alta: antica dimora in pietra con vista mare

L’antica torretta è stata restaurata con rispetto della sua storia e della sua anima. Gli arredamenti in legno rifiniti con oli naturali, le pareti in pietra e calce, i pavimenti in cotto fatto a mano con finitura in cera d’api e il riscaldamento a pavimento rendono questa struttura sana e rispettosa dell’ambiente. Negli spazi sono esposte delle opere d'arte. I servizi della casa includono: aria condizionata, televisore, wi-fi , cucina, uno splendido camino ed un terrazzo con vista mozzafiato.

Villa Gabbiano - The old lady of the stairs

Villa Gabbiano was built in the early eighties, between two imposing rocks that stand out from the wooded vegetation of the Marcaneto hill. The villa, with its terraces spread over several levels, overlooks the Gulf of Policastro and the coast of Basilicata. The uninterrupted union between architecture and nature is made possible by the flights of stairs that connect the parts of the villa. All around, a majestic garden surrounds the house and makes your eyes look peaceful.

The apartment is on the ground floor. It was the old house of my grandparents, whom they built with their own hands with the support (solidarity) of the women of the village. They bore on their heads the stones that make up the structure of the wall. The reward? Dances and wine all night. Self-taught organist, my grandfather played and my grandmother welcomed all people. A beautiful energy remains in each stone ... It will be a pleasure to share all this with you.

La mini casa si trova su “Largo Rupe” una delle terrazze vista mare più belle di Fiumefreddo Bruzio. Qui si trova “Il Medaglione della Fortuna” opera del grande maestro Salvatore Fiume che raffigura la dea bendata. Per questo ho deciso di denominare la casa “Il Nido della Fortuna”.
