Το Meteora Shelter I βρίσκεται κάτω ακριβώς από το μοναστήρι της Αγίας Τριάδας και μπροστά από τον τεράστιο βράχο του Άλσου, με εκπληκτική θέα. Είναι ένας πλήρως ανακαινισμένος χώρος που περιλαμβάνει έργα σύγχρονης τέχνης φιλοτεχνημένα από την καλλιτέχνιδα Μαγδαληνή Θεοδώρου. Από εδώ ξεκινάει μονοπάτι για τα μοναστήρια των Μετεώρων. To xωριό μας βρίσκεται σε υψόμετρο 1000m και απέχει μόλις 20 km από τον κόμβο Ανατολικού Ζαγορίου της Εγνατίας Οδού. 45 λεπτά από το Μέτσοβο και 20 λεπτά από την πανέμορφη λίμνη των πηγών Αώου.

Marmaraki

The house is located under the picturesque rocks of Meteora, in the beautiful village Kastraki. The area is called Marmaro or Marmaraki, which is where the house gets it's name. The house is close to public transportation, about 200 meters away from the central area of the village. Bakeries, groceries, tavern-restaurants and a drugstore are very close by (about 50-100 meters). The town of Kalambaka is within walking distance. The house is also close to the great monasteries of Meteora.

The house in the village was built with love and respect for nature. It is all made of stone and wood, characteristic architecture of the houses of Zagori. The stones used in the construction of this house were all handpicked by the home owners and all the decorative items are family heirlooms up to 5 generations back.
