With its location adjacent to the harbour and in the centre of the village, Grade 2 listed Quayside has had a fascinating and diverse past. Over the course of its more than two centuries nestled between the centre of the village and the harbour it has served as a pilchard press, net loft, doctor's surgery and even as the premises of the local undertaker! Following extensive recent renovation it has been transformed into chic, comfortable and spacious apartments that showcase the character of the building. The superking bed, which can be converted into twin beds upon request, is topped off with high quality linen guaranteeing a luxurious night's sleep. All apartments possess full kitchen facilities including Nespresso coffee machines, free WiFi, TVs in living rooms and all bedrooms, and Amazon Echo devices. The generously proportioned wet rooms contain rain and handheld showers and heated towel rails, whilst fluffy white towels are provided. Fully centrally heated. Guests have access to a laundry room with washer and dryer. We generally stay in the same building and, when there, are available to assist you or try to answer any questions you may have during your stay. The seasonal Mevagissey - Fowey ferry (www.Mevagissey-ferries.co.uk) provides a fun and practical alternative to the busy holiday traffic and parking. St Austell (15 minutes) has a wide selection of supermarkets (Asda, Tesco, Aldi, Lidl) as well as the nearest mainline train station. Nuestra propiedad es una cocina/sala de estar de planta abierta con un dormitorio, ducha e inodoro arriba. El dormitorio tiene altura restringida a un lado, como se ve en las fotos. En el exterior hay una zona empedrada, junto a un carril tranquilo, con un banco para tomar el sol de la mañana. Tenemos la suerte de tener aparcamiento seguro fuera de la carretera para el coche de un huésped en nuestra unidad cerrada. Mevagissey es un encantador pueblo de pescadores con su pintoresco puerto en funcionamiento, calles estrechas, restaurantes, pubs y tiendas, a 4 minutos a pie.

The Gig House

Un refugio perfecto para parejas, a pocos pasos del puerto. Esta pequeña casa rústica, encantadora y única tiene todo lo necesario para una estancia cómoda. Capacidad para dos personas, en una suntuosa cama tamaño king con una nueva cocina totalmente equipada y un baño con ducha. El espacio exterior empedrado tiene asientos y espacio para estacionar. La Gig House admite perros y es un lugar ideal para explorar maravillosos paseos, playas y rutas en bicicleta, así como algunos pubs con encanto y restaurantes de buen gusto.

El pueblo atemporal ha sido el escenario de muchas películas y series de televisión, como About Time, Poldark y The Wild West. El South West Coast Path está justo en la puerta de su casa y St Mawes, Eden Project, Lost Gardens of Heligan, Caerhays, etc., están todos cerca. ¡Otra opción es simplemente relajarte, servirte una copa de vino y dejar que el mundo gire un poco!
