The house is tastefully decorated by the furniture design owners based in Los Angeles, many of the pieces collected from their travels. Our well appointed large bach is a short stroll to the beach directly in front, 5-minute Drive to Mahia. Here, you’ll find Mokotahi walk, surfing and fishing , and ample family activities on the beach front decking and lawn

Magnolia Cottage

Enjoy the quiet area. Listen to all the native birds, swim in the pool, take a walk in our lovely area, or simply relax in the spacious cottage with a drink. Inside, go up the spiral stairs to the cozy mezzanine bedroom (please note that it's low up there). The unique stairs are from the old star observatory on Titirangi (the local maunga/mountain)! The sofa bed in the lounge can sleep 2. There is no kitchen, but there is a kitchenette with microwave, toaster and kettle.

The spacious living room opens to a covered outdoor deck area opposite the beach. secure Boat parking and wash down available. winter bookings are made warm and cosy with a woodsman Tarras fire in the main living space on the sand dune down the walkway opposite house is an 8 seater table and chairs for dining. please leave as you found it. tractor and driver available to launch your boat. Here in the far east are the first in the world to see the light of day. Known for our laid-back surf culture, superior Chardonnay and aromatic wines, fertile soils and abundance of local produce. This modern retreat offers the perfect balance of rural peace and coastal convenience, with stunning views of the surrounding hills and our very own persimmon orchard. A 7min (6.3km) drive to town beaches, a 6min (4.4km) drive to town and a 10min (6.3km) drive to the air port.

Mahia Beach Lodge .

Mahia Beach Lodge is situated in the Mahia Beach village just a short walk to the beach and village amenities. It is a 2 story house with lounge, kitchen living area upstairs opening out onto a large deck. 1 queen bedroom, 1 twin single bedroom and bath room upstairs. Down stairs is a queen bedroom, a large room with a queen bed and 3 singles beds, and bathroom.Laundry is located out the back door on the right. This is shared with the house in the rear of the section.

Very spacious holiday home with uninterrupted breathtaking views. This stunning home captures fabulous morning sunrises and views over to Gisborne and the east coast. Plenty of extra space in the 2nd house for those larger group bookings. Large lawn area fit for parking cars and boats. More lawn space for running around, outdoor games and barbecues. You are surrounded by Swimming, Surfing, fishing, diving spots and nice walks along the beach right at your doorstep!

Charming Morere Lodge Cottage

Our 2 bedroom 1920s cottage has great rural views, is a short walk to the Mōrere Hot Springs and a short drive to the closest beach, family-friendly activities, Mangaone caves and 15 minutes from the beautiful Mahia Peninsula . You’ll love our place because of the cosiness, the comfy beds, the views, the 1920's charm and character plus the 30 acres of pastures, woodland and stream to explore. The cottage is good for couples, and families (with kids).

Sanctuary Lodge - Cabin 1

Get away from it all and re-energise yourselves. Mahia offers safe swimming, fishing and walks. The cabin is located in private bush setting, overlooking Mahia Peninsula and two bays. Cabin 1 can sleep a couple in a queen bed and one child under 7. It has recently been renovated, we are aiming for a comfortable, relaxing, and cosy feeling. We do offer reduced rates for more than one night's stay, please ask for prices.

Classic kiwi beach front bach in Mahanga

Class kiwi bach situated right across the road from one of east coast's best surfing breaks. An awesome place to chill on the deck or couch and watch the surfers, or to get out there yourself. This fully fenced bach has 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and is ideal for families. Across the road the 8km golden sand beach has a rocky area with a stream running through it, great for crab hunting, shell collecting and dam building.

Mahia Heights Beach Views

Our home is on an elevated site, with lovely views down to the beach and the bay, and is a short walk to the sand. The guest suite is situated at one end of the house and comprises a bedroom, bathroom and a separate lounge room with its own private deck and entrance. The bedroom has a queen bed. Enjoy waking to the sound of the waves and the local bird life. Have breakfast on the deck while taking in the views.
