A quiet haven off the main road, only 100 mtrs easy walk to beach reserve and fishing. Enjoy the birdsong, sunrise and daytime hours in the shady, tropical garden at the rear of the house with its generous outdoor seating and dining facilities, and take in the sunset from the deck and coastal garden in the front of the house.

The Pearl of Whakatiwai

The Pearl of Whakatiwai. A restored Bed/kitchen/dining room with separate shower and toilet. This house was built in the 50's and so we have lovingly recreated the whole 50's vibe for your enjoyment. Right on the edge of the Firth of Thames you can lie in bed with view of Tikapa Moana and the Coromandel. A great little kitchen with oven and fridge, plus all the tools you need. No TV, but great WiFi available. The price has recently increased but I didn’t increase my amount.

Karearea Farm Cottage

Karearea Cottage is on 4 acres with a horse and pony next to the cottage. We are central to the Waikato, minutes from the Waikato Expressway/SH1 - approx. an hours drive to Auckland, west coast surfing/fishing beaches like Raglan, 90 mins to east coast Coromandel's world renowned beautiful beaches, a short drive to Hakarimata bushwalks with 800 year old Kauri, Golf Course, Hot Pools, Huntly Speedway, 20 minutes to Hamilton, Hampton Downs Raceway, and lovely cafe's a short drive.

Rest at Rahu

Escape to "Rest at Rahu," a serene haven, surrounded by lush greenery. You're spoilt for choice with excellent dining options 10-20 minutes away and Waihi Beach just a 25-minute drive, indulge in relaxation. Explore Karangahake Gorge walkways 5 minutes down the road. Our AirBnB is a separate, self-contained wing of our beautiful new home in Totara, 3kms south of Thames Township and gateway to the Coromandel Peninsula. We are about an hour’s drive from Auckland International Airport and close to the many and varied attractions of the Coromandel and the Waikato Region. Easy access to the Hauraki Rail Trail. From our elevated position there are uninterrupted views over the township, Firth of Thames and the Kauaeranga Valley.
