Very close drive to Bay Area (3 hours) yet within close proximity of Reno, Truckee, and Lake Tahoe. 5 minute walk to Soda Springs Ski Resort (ski-in/ski-out)! In summer, great hiking and lakes all close by. Insanely fast wifi (400mb download, 40mb upload). Please see note about train close by and possible noise.

Walk to Royal Gorge for cross-country skiing or snow-shoeing or enjoy a short drive (less than 5-10 minutes typically) to 4 down hill resorts close by : Sugar Bowl, Soda Springs (snow tubing), Boreal and Donner Ski Ranch. We provide the cabin, you bring the fun and your own SHEETS/TOWELS. There is one King Bed, one Queen Bed, 1 twin bed (lower bunk) and 1 single bed (upper bunk).
