Sleep under the stars on a 111 acre farm. This rustic experience allows you to live off-grid and among nature. There are a number of trails and outdoor areas to explore as well as a number of close-by amenities within a 5 minute drive including 2 ski resorts. If you really want to indulge, we are also just a 20min drive to the Thermëa spa by Nordik. Far enough away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to not require a long travel commitment, this place is a great way to relax and unwind.

Quiet Retreat for Two

Spend a starry night in the country with the comfort of a soft bed, a wood stove, and plenty of space both indoors and out. Our yurt is located in a pocket of trees next to rolling farm fields and beautiful conservation land that the Rocklyn creek meanders through. You can prepare your meals in a sweet outdoor kitchen that is entirely screened in- or choose to sit by the fire. Bruce Trail access is just around the corner, and the towns of Meaford and Owen Sound are a short scenic drive away.

Forest Yurt

Yurt in a private forest area. Walking distance to the cheese factory (ice cream, lunches, snacks), produce stands, and a park. Short drive to Madoc (groceries, beer/ LCBO, parks, beach, bakery, restaurants, etc). Perfect area for star gazing, long walks & bike rides. This yurt is in a camping setting, with indoor compost toilet, seasonal private outdoor shower, no wifi but there is electricity, dishes, indoor hot plate, BBQ, mini fridge, all pots & pans and bedding and clean drinking water.

Warm red and dark-brown interior, wood-burning stove + propane heat, queen bed plus double fold-out, kitchenette with spring water, half bath with compost toilet, private deck, fire-pit area, a shared wood-fired sauna and 3-season showers. Set on a quiet 72-acre forested property surrounded by wildlife and trails.

Tucked away in the rugged Land O’ Lakes region of Eastern Ontario, the waterfront Salmon River Wilderness Camp is a private, 300-acre wilderness, bordering on the pristine Salmon River as well as Cade Lake. Rejuvenate with a swim, go paddling in a canoe at your doorstep, and hike in the rolling landscape of forests, granite and clean water. Centrally located between Toronto, Ottawa, and Montreal, we're also near Puzzle Lake Provincial Park and the Lennox & Addington Dark Sky Viewing Area.

Close to Algonquin Park, Arrowhead Provincial Park and central to many beautiful walking/ATV/Cycle/cross country skiing and Sledding trails. We are situated across from The Magnetawan river- great for fishing, and just 5 minutes from the public beach, boat launch and dock. Here you can unplug from life and reconnect with nature.This is a place to relax and recharge. You will find a beautiful four season off grid yurt(no electricity,running water), access to a fire pit and barbeque for cooking. Enjoy the river, sunsets, and incredible night skies as well as the wildlife, including otters, bears, deer, birds and bald eagles in the fall!
