The Mill House Retreat is a 2 story loft set in a park like setting next to the Sugar River. Built in 1864, this stone grist mill has soaring 15ft ceilings, original fittings and luxurious finishes. You will be greeted by chesterfield sofas, a large bar, a copper tub and comfortable beds. Just minutes to bike trails, live music, restaurants, and bars. Rustic cottage overlooking cattle pasture on our family farm. Hidden gem offers a great place to unplug and unwind, while still remaining close to lots of destinations and activities- including Paoli, New Glarus, Verona (Epic), and Downtown Madison. Nearby Belleville has access to Ice Age Trail, Sugar River, and Lake Bellevue. If visiting in the winter time, we recommend brining a vehicle with 4WD or AWD, as our driveway is quite steep and can be slick as snow packs up.
