The Tree Cabin

The heated tree cabin is set within a small secluded wood up a steep path. Cedar lined, insulated and oak clad it cantilevers out over a remote mill pond. Wake up in a tranquil heaven only shared with shy wildlife, including deer, hare, the odd badger and a variety of birds. In the cabin are a king-size plus bed, table and chairs, kitchen area with induction plate, microwave oven & toaster. Your own smaller tree cabin, a few trees away, houses a flushing toilet and hand basin with spring water.

A cosy, rustic hut in a field with 2 comfy kingsize beds (sheets & duvet not provided), en suite shower & loo, set in a secluded spot on a small, quiet 36 acre farm with fishing lake & boat in a remote, beautiful, little visited, yet very accessible area of the Pennines with expansive views of the stunning Thursden Valley. An extensive network of footpaths lead to Extwistle Moor, the cairn circle & tumuli above Ell Clough, the Bronte Way, Pennine Way & Bridleway. Sorry no dogs. No loud music.

There are stunning walks and cycling in every direction, wild river swimming, easy access to golf and tennis, boutique shopping in Longridge and Clitheroe and some great country pubs and craft beer bars within a 5 minute drive. The park itself is being refurbished in some areas currently. *small additional charge payable at reception.
