Storybook Castle BnB

Sheldon Castle is a registered Baldwin County Historic home. It is a unique, artistic structure right in Fairhope but secluded on a side street. The Eastern Shore Art Center is down the drive and across the street. From there you are in wonderful downtown Fairhope. The studio suite is a completely private part of Sheldon Castle with the Sheldon descendants in the rest of the home. Mosher Castle with a moat and dragon is next door. Our guests are invited to walk the grounds of both castles.

Lob Lolly Farm of Point Clear

This 1100 sq foot apartment is located in the top of our barn. It is very nice and fully furnished with a well appointed kitchen. Our barn is a working barn with 3 horses that come and go. I will allow a pet but must approve and there is a 75.00 pet fee. St Francis Church is a 3 minute drive and the Grand Hotel and Little Point Clear a 5-7 minute drive. Downtown Fairhope is a 5-7 minute drive and a straight shot from my farm, - Gulf shores/Orange beach is 41 minutes away.

Most visit Fairhope for the majestic Mobile Bay sunsets, quaint small-town shopping and dining, local art and pottery, and good old fashioned peace and quiet. For these interests Emerson House Fairhope is hands down the best location you can find. Sitting just one block from Mobile Bay and the Fairhope Pier, an easy walk accesses everything downtown - great dining, shopping, art, parks and more.
