Lake View Studios have been transformed from old outbuildings to lovely self contained studios set in 190 acres of idyllic Dorset countryside surrounded by picturesque lakes bustling with wildlife. Situated just outside of Wareham our location is at the heart of the Jurassic Coast World Heritage site. We are close to many local attractions including RSPB Arne, Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door. Enjoy the wildlife from the patio, stroll around or we can arrange for you to Kayak on our beautiful lake.

Centrally Located Wareham Accommodation

Our flat is accessed via a private entrance off South Street in Wareham. It is on the first and second floor above our well known tea room & restaurant, which is open during the day only. The lounge/diner, kitchen, bathroom and a single bedroom are on the first floor. The large bedroom and another double is on the second floor - the stairs to this floor are a little twisty and there is a low beam at the top. Nearby is Arne Nature Reserve, Monkey World, Corfe Castle, Lulworth Cove & Durdle Door

The Garden Room is a cosy and welcoming private place to stay perfect for getaways. Situated in an ANOB close to the coast, it is tastefully decorated with a pretty view from the south facing window. Tea/coffee making facilities & light breakfast of pastry, fruit & yogurt is available in the room (or garden). You will feel very comfortable in a stylish space in lovely surroundings. Also use of a pretty patio, parking space & fridge. Sorry, not suitable for children or if you are without a car.

Home in Dorset, near Jurassic Coast and Arne

The Loft is a self-contained apartment, sitting in the grounds of King's Orchard and offers guests a tranquil setting, with privacy and comfort. Close to the beautiful Dorset coast, on the Isle of Purbeck in rural Dorset, with stunning views to the neighbouring heathland and RSPB bird reserve. Sika deer can often be seen in the grounds. There are numerous walks on the doorstep or along the Jurassic coast, a mere 10 minutes drive away. The ancient towns of Corfe and Wareham are 5 minutes by car.

Cosy Purbeck Cottage on the Jurassic Coast

We fully renovated this cosy, two bedroom cottage to create a warm, welcoming space where the only sounds you’ll hear are the tweeting of birds and crackle of the newly fitted wood burning stove. The cottage has a king, a twin room and a sofa bed in the lounge so is flexible with accommodating various set ups. The location is just about as good as it gets. It’s a 10 min walk along the stunning River Frome into Wareham and a stone’s throw from all major tourist attractions on the Purbecks.

The location offers easy access to local attractions including Arne RSPB, Corfe Castle,Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove. A short walk away is the quaint market town of Wareham, with scenic riverside walks,pubs and restaurants. With its blend of natural beauty, historical sites, and cozy accommodation, The Hyde provides an idyllic getaway.

A 3 min walk to the charming village pub and a 10 min walk to the vibrant river town of Wareham, with many cafes and restaurants, Saturday market, unique shops, and the Rex oil-lit cinema. Water activities like boat and paddleboard hire are available. Bosuns is the perfect base to explore Dorset's attractions.

Beautiful Lake view shepherds hut. Set in the heart of the Jurassic coast world heritage site. This private estate is a bird watchers paradise. Gazing from the shepherds hut or private decking area at stunning sunsets over the lake and the abundance of birds and wildlife you probably will not want to leave these idyllic natural surroundings. It is only 1 mile from the pretty riverside town of Wareham where you can enjoy a delicious meal at one of the eateries or relax at the rivers edge.

Cosy cottage located on the Isle of Purbeck

Tanners Cottage was built in 2014 on the land behind what was the old village shop and next to where the old tannery used to be located. The cottage is a detached property with an enclosed private garden. Located on the Isle of Purbeck (not really an island but a peninsula on the Dorset coast) and just a short drive to many local beaches it's a perfect location to relax and enjoy the generally warmer weather the south coast enjoys. Parking for one car adjacent to the cottage.

The Cottage is an open plan building next to the entrance to Corfe Common in a tranquil setting. Downstairs there is a King-size bed & upstairs there are 2 single beds . Sleeping areas are open plan but have thick curtains that can be drawn to create a private and cosy space. Downstairs has Wet-room with sink & separate toilet & sink New Kitchen WiFi Log burner and 2 free basket of logs South facing Patio Parking 2 cars 5 mins walk to Corfe Village Pets welcome.

Lovely Grade 2 listed cottage completely renovated in the centre of the historic market town of Wareham. Perfectly situated to explore the Isle of Purbeck and Jurassic coast.
