Beautiful designer house by the sea in the countryside 1 hrs drive from the city of Tromsø. The area is great for hiking, skiing, fishing with the midnight sun in the summer and aurora borealis during winter. Included in your stay there is a woodfired sauna placed by the sea with a fireplace and a cosy indoor chill-zone. We charge NOK 250,- per sac of firewood used to heat these facilities . Hytten inneholder : stue, toalett /dusj , kjøkken og 3 soverom. bod: inni boden er det vaskemaskin - Stor veranda hvor det er grillmuligheter å utsikt over Lyngenfjorden. Free snowshoes, insulated coveralls, headlamps, ice cleats and ice fishing gear for winter. In summer, use our 13-foot boat and full fishing setup — all included. Perfect for Northern Lights and midnight sun in peaceful seclusion.

Gamtunet - idyllic cabin - spectacular location

Gamtunet is a charming old log house with a top modern architectural extension including all commodities. The view is spectacular encompassing the Lyngen landscape from the view to the Ulsfjord to the alpine peaks of Trollvasstind, Sofiatind and the Jiehkkevárri massif. We still have lots of snow in the mountains so it looks like skiing will be good all through May at least.
