It has a quiet, private setting with everything needed to make your stay comfortable &, hopefully, inspired. The outdoors is this home's other half, creating an enveloping amphitheater of gardens, birds, trees & a hammock. Beyond this private nest are 360 degree views of the Sangre de Christo Mountains, the Rio Grande Gorge, spectacular sunset displays & miles of walking & bike trails.

PERFECT SPOT FOR A GETAWAY! A no-smoking, one bedroom retreat-like unit has tons of character. Stroll to the Plaza and restaurants. Enjoy the private patio off the bedroom or the lovely courtyard with calming fountain and many benches. Ideal for reading, thinking or meditation. Many guests have been "working from home with a different view"! One family dog (under 25#) is OK – and you must inquire in advance. The cozy paradise is a combination of the Taos vibe with contemporary touches.

Set on 30 acres of private land on the western edge of town, Taos Skybox "Horizons" studio is a unique vacation home experience, purpose-built to take advantage of the dark skies and endless vistas of the high desert landscape. Taos Earthship: Modern + Mesa

Located in the world-famous Greater World Earthship Community, this modern off-grid home is one of a kind! Built by hand over 8 years by me, your host, Kirsten. This sustainable house is bright, light, and airy with clean lines and unique details. Like all Earthships this house is built from natural and repurposed materials such as used automobile tires, cardboard, old cans and bottles. All electricity for the house is from solar. All water is from the sky. More comfort, less hippie.

Hawk House

This cozy 2-story home sits on 10 acres in the Chama River Valley, with views of Cerro Pedernal and the mountains. Rustic, cozy, with all basic amenities. Ideal for the solo artist or couple. Hiking + hot springs nearby, including Ghost Ranch, Poshuouingue ruins & Ojo Caliente Springs! Most pets are welcome (for a pet fee). It's helpful to check in on it, however, due to our contained pups further back on the land. Open to longer stays at discounted price. Write about either to discuss!

The Depot (Tiny House)

Please know that this is a NO PET property! The perfect tiny home base for all your adventures. Equipped with all the benefits of home, just on a smaller scale. Fully functional kitchen & bathroom. We’re located between Taos & Questa. Hiking, biking, rafting, fishing are all nearby, or go check out some of the hot springs instead. If you enjoy star gazing then you’ll love our dark nights. You won’t soon forget the lovely, peaceful surroundings of this tiny rustic destination.

Our casita sits on 13.5 acres of land and has expansive views of Abiquiu, the Chama river valley, the geologic formations known as Plaza Blanca (or the “White Place”), and the Sangre de Cristo Mountains over Santa Fe. We are located 55mins from Santa Fe, and 5hrs from Denver. Abiquiu is a destination frequented by artists, writers, spirit seekers, and nature lovers from around the world.
