Lots of dining choices here on the island...your first question, by boat or by car? Boating here is an adventure that can be complimented by dining or partying at here on the Key. With the nearest powerboat ramp located at Galvez (adjacent to Hub Staceys on the Point). Once in the water if you head east you have Oyster House, head over to Oar House or even head to Pensacola Beach for all the beach restaurants located there. Heading west, you have a local favorite, the Pirates Cove or take a drive down the Ole River to the Fabulous Florabama. Further west you have Cobalt (a personal favorite) Tacky Jack and if you proceed down the Intercoastal you will run right by Jimmy Buffets sister, Lulu restaurant in Gulf Shores Beaches anyone, you need not leave Perdido Key with Johnson Beach (National Sea Shore), Florida’s Big Lagoon State Park, Fort McRee (abandoned civil war era fort) are all great beaches to drive or boat to. Heading west towards Alabama, you have beach entertainment at the FloraBama, Robinson Island and a network of state maintained beaches on both the Florida and Alabama side of Perdido Key. Pensacola Beach, Orange Beach and Gulf Shores offer plenty of options for dining, beaching (volleyball) on some of the most amazing sand found anywhere in the world.
