Kársnes is like a small village in the city. It is a quiet neighborhood but only 10 min drive to down town. In Kársnes we have everything we need: little grocery store, bakery-burger shop, cafe, playgrounds, swimming pool, sky lagoon and walking paths by the sea.

easy walk (40 min), beautyfull view. Wonderful to bath in a hot spring river before walking back.
It is good to wear swimsuits under your clothes and have a big towel to wrap around you when you take them of.

Tallest waterfall in Iceland. Outstanding 3-4 hours walk up to Glymur. Go up on the right site at the top you will have to wade a cross the river and go down on the other side. Beautiful landscape and adorable nature. The hill is very steep so this is not for someone who is afraid of hight.
