Loose Change for Jeepneys & Tricycles
Jeepneys & Tricycles are the best way to get around. Always bring loose change with you (Php 5-10 peso coins, and Php 20-50 peso bills) for ease and convenience. If in doubt how to go about your destination, always ask the driver. They'll be more than happy to help.

Pintados Festival on June
June is pretty hectic for Tacloban City as it's festival season but it's a great vibe to be in as there would be events happening the whole month!

Get Airport Transfer Sorted
There aren't a lot of taxis in Tacloban City hence, it would be worthwhile to sort out Airport Transfer ahead of time especially when travelling with luggage. The best way to get to our place is to book a cab from the airport. There are jeepneys that take you to and from the airport but might not be the most convenient way if you have suitcases with you.

Philippine weather is pretty much either sunny/humid or rainy. Filipinos typically carry an umbrella for whichever weather.

There aren't a lot of public toilets but you would easily find one in a shopping mall, fast food chains and restaurants.
