This is a must. The water is spring fed from the 300,000 acre filtered Edwards Aquifer. It's stunning and healing. This is the center of Austin's amazingness in my opinion.

Great park with stunning views along the hike and bike trail. This is a fun run where you can adjust the length by using the any choice of bridge - 1mi, 3mi, 5mi laps around the lake.

Getting a boat and paddling the lake is a must. I recommend this place. Paddle out to the main river and take a left. Keep going until you see the fork in the river. Let the fork be your marker (that's Red Bud park). To your right is the rope swing and to your left is a cliff diving spot. ;)
