Parks & Nature
if you just walk straight to the beach from the apartment you find a lovely trail that leads you all the way around Lauttasaari, including this cute little spot by the sea. Its perfect for a little run or walk and a great way to enjoy the nature, give it a try!! (in summer, take a beer and a friend along and sit on the rocks and watch the sunset)

Cute little island, definitely worth to check out, especially in summer. Bring along something to barbecue, there is wood and barbecue places available. Check public transport to get there, there is a bus that goes straight to the bridge that leads to this island.

Food Scene
Both coffee shop and restaurant, great opening hours and coffee! Lovely brunch - as pricy as everything in Helsinki.

Check out their Facebook page for more but i LOVE this place. Its a lovely and stylish cafe inside an church (look for the wooden signs outside that lead your way). Very new and a lovely host! Try the snickers cake if possible :)

Sightseeing
well, if your open any travel guide this one is included but def worth a visit, bring along a picnic and a blanket in summer! it will get windy. If you own an HSL travel card (recommended) you can take the boat free of charge from the market square (its included in the public transport price), no need to use a tourist boat. (though the boat tours are nice as well)
