Another option if you've just had a wonder on Welcombe Mouth beach and walked across the steppingstones across the river leading to the waterfall. Friendly new Irish landlords Grainne and Murrough do their best to make you feel at home here. See their Facebook page for events https://www.facebook.com/pg/TheOldSmithyInn/posts/?ref=page_internal

Sightseeing

Lovely secluded beach when the tide is out there is sand but keep an eye out for the rocks falling off cliff and can have strong tidal pull for less experienced sea swimmers.

Parks & Nature

Stunning scenery and steep steps down to the beach, wear walking shoes. no facilities so bring a rucksack with a drink/snack. You will need to park somewhere further up on the road near Docton Mill as the car can get scratched if you drive all the way down and over the cattle grid. Its about 20min walk to the waterfall.
