An old bus station, that was recently turned into a food hall. Only 5 min away. Few different kinds of restaurants, bars, bakery, cafe. Lots of people, busy.

Fair price (compared to Iceland:) large menu with lots of small dishes. I can recommend the Ceasar salat, the trout, the melted cheese and much more.. Great for sharing. The place is just across the street from Hallgrimskirkja. One of my favorites!

Perlan: Ice cave, northern light and forces of nature exhibition. 15 min walk from the apartment. You can also go to the beach in Nautholsvik that is close by,,, yes it has a white sand and you can swim in the sea. Kids friendly!

The biggest swimming pool, very kid friendly and nice hot tubs and sauna. Take a bus or walk for half an hour. Cost about 1000 kr. per adult, free for kids.
