Acre Pond aka Acre Lake not only offers a peaceful community, great fishing year around and only ten minutes from Elm Mountain to enjoy skiing. It also offers a variety of scenic escapes nearby. For your fishing and quick convenient shopping, you can find some of what you need at the Acre Lake Store within walking distance. But you will also find some neat homey restaurants to eat at and also parks like Lackawanna state park that offers boat rentals, swimming, picnicking, camping, fishing and food.

We offer most basic necessities .
We try to keep stocked, most standard toiletries, spices, coffee, sugar etc. We always will have paper towels, toilet paper, towels, sheets, comforters so that you can just pack your personal items and enjoy your vacation with less stress involved.

Our Lake House is kid friendly...
Although we don't offer high chairs or strollers, and we also have many stairs so keep that in mind. There are rails to each set of steps as well. We also have a wooden playset with slide for the younger children to enjoy. Our street is also very quiet, not many cars travel on it, and our neighbors are very respectful about keeping their speeds low. We do offer many life jackets, and try to keep our place as safe as possible. But keep in mind, we are lake front, so keep a safe eye on your children.
