A fantastic walk up the hill from Te Puke, or try a gentler trail from Sommerset. Amazing views from the top, friendly sheep along the way & the best preserved pa site in the world. Te Rae o Papamoa is steeped in history. Look for the umu (hangi oven) at the top.

Cafe's and excellent shopping on main road, or relax on the beach, walk up or around the mighty Mauao, the view from the top is amazing, and well deserved as the track up is challenging. For a gentler walk, the 5km loop around The Mount still has some stunning views.

A family-friendly area with m any playgrounds dotted throughout the neighbourhood. Not to mention the stunning beach nearby. Please be safe in the water. At times, the undertow can be strong. There are lifeguards stationed at Papamoa Domain & Omanu beach.
