A 245-acre park in a rural setting, just northwest of Springfield city limits. Includes playground, picnic pavilion, trails, woods, lake, streams, sand volleyball court, archery range. Ritter Springs is accessible by Ozark Greenways’ Fulbright Spring Greenway trail, connecting Ritter Springs to the Sac River Mountain Bike trail and David C Murray Park.

Ritter Springs Park

The Frisco Highline Trail winds 35 miles through the scenic Ozarks, and it connects Springfield to Bolivar, Missouri. The trail was designated a National Recreation Trail by the National Park Service and American Trails in 2004. The trail is made possible by donors and members of Ozark Greenways, who owns this scenic Rail-Trail. Many thanks to the Springfield-Greene County Park Board for their help maintaining the south half of the trail!
This is 9.3 miles from the Little Red House. You are also able to pick up this trail in Willard, MO which is 2.0 miles from the Little Red House.

This place is awesome! If you have plenty of time take the day and explore what this Museum & Aquarium have to offer. We enjoyed casually walking through and enjoying the many exhibits and interactive areas. It's also conveniently located next door to Bass Pro Shops.
