Bring waterproof boots or water shoes.
Dependent on the season and forecast. It can get very wet and muddy on the farm, so it’s best to always be prepared.
Facilidad para moverse por la casa
Need a car, motorcycle, or bike.
We don’t have much in the way of public transportation around here. Instead, people get around in other ways: by bicycle, motorcycle, car, or horse and buggy.
Train or bus access to New York City departs from Saratoga and Albany, New York, each about 1 hour away.

Parking on the farm
Parking is to the north of the house, on a large gravel area. It can fit up to 5 vehicles comfortably.
It’s a short walk to the entrance of the private apartment. There is a railing with solar lights installed for safety.

Keep track of your children
Unattended children will be given dung to play with.
Seriously, the farm can be a dirty and dangerous place. Please supervise your children and don't let them roam unattended.

Farm animals
Watch your step! We try our best to keep our farm clean, but animals poop where they will. Most walkways are safe, but keep an eye out in grass and greenery.
Do not touch the animals without permission.
Don’t go into the horse pastures or chicken pen.

Dogs on the Farm
The border collies are used to being off-leash and are very friendly.
Please treat them with kindness and respect, and they will do the same.
They would be very happy if you would throw a ball or stick for them.
