The Mall Road is vibrant, offers beautiful valley view and is a must visit when in shimla. It is bustling with shops and you can find some of the best winter wear here. If going to the mall in the evening, do carry a warm jacket as it often gets breezy. If you have small children, you get pram service at the mall in case your child feels tired.

Spiritual
Jakhoo is a temple of Lord Hanuman on top of the Jakhoo hill. As the story goes, Lord hanuman was on way to find the Sanjeevani booth. While flying over the Nakhon hill, he saw a Rishi meditating. He stopped here to check for directions from the Rishi. As Lord Hanuman stood on Nakhon temple, the temple even lost height as it was weighed down by the Lord's weight.
Since then, this temple is there on the Jakhoo hill and visitors come here to pray.
The temple is the holy abode for monkeys around. However, the monkeys do not harm you.
The temple is a 10 minute walk from the apartment and can also be reached by car or taxi (available right below the apartments) in 5 minutes.

It is a great destination to have brunch/ lunch or evening coffee to enjoy the sunset. It has the perfect valley view and also has a spacious balcony to stand and absorb the beautiful mountains. In case you are visiting for lunch, be sure to come here by maximum 1 pm as they are so popular that their food gets out of stock!
