Food Scene
Nice coffee, good food, lovely location just 5 minutes walk along Cornmeal Creek.
Turn right as you walk out the front door, go to the end of the street and turn left and the creek (don't go across the bridge).
follow the path for about 300m and you'll see Culture on the ground floor of the apartment building on your left.
Culture Café

A great spot, 15 minutes walk from the house, via Sunshine Plaza, with many bars and restaurants to choose from (I love Junk for Asian Fusian food)

I go with friends and order plates to share, so we all get to enjoy a few things on the menu
Try the Chicken Katsu Bao and the Hesketh Rosè.

Sightseeing
Alex Heads Beach is a lovely local beach 5 minutes drive (or 30min walk if you prefer) from the house.
After a day relaxing on the sand, you can grab some food or a drink at the Alex Heads Surf Club, overlooking the ocean.

There are pleanty of seats/grassy spots to sit, and a park for children to play, if you cross the bridge at the end of Waterbird St.
