All incredibly fresh and served very quickly. The service is incredible is well, they make you feel special and even if it's your first time it's like home. The ambiance is great as well with the music and the décor, it definitely feels tropical even though it's the middle of the mountains.

The only difference is the pancakes are the size of a 12-14" pizza and man, are they tasty. Super fluffy and sweet, just out of this world food. This place is great! Every time I have purchased sweets, ice cream or fudge from North Pole, I have immensely enjoyed their homemade sweets....and so have my friends and family! We love that they stay open late, for a late night snack! Busy, busy place! There's always a line as they scoop up generous portions of Dreyer's Ice Cream. But my focus was on the fudge that is made in-house. There must be 15 different kinds of fudge to choose from, very diverse and fun. Now understand, that I never buy fudge, always preferring homemade. Well, I found an exception. I fall in the traditional category and basically prefer chocolate fudge with walnuts. If you prefer something more exotic, I guarantee you they'll have it for you. What do I like about the fudge? First, this chocolate fudge does not overwhelm you with a sugary blast. Of course it's sweet but the flavor of the chocolate comes through nicely and is balanced well with the walnuts. It's very creamy and soft, unlike the firmer fudge you find in most stores.

Fantastic Happy Hour! That was seriously the best happy hour margarita I have ever had. We also had the happy hour quesadilla and it was delicious, very large and came with great guacamole and sour cream. Their salsas and chips were very good. Our server was wonderful! We split the Chili Verde and it was sooo good! Highly recommended.

It’s a great park with lots of attractions and facilities including a large bandstand, restrooms, huge dock for fishing or gazing and the view is spectacular. There are several islands made entirely of boulders in the Bay and these are great fun if you are canoeing or kayaking. The dock and picnic tables are popular with families who come to hang out and enjoy the Park.
In the winter the Park is a popular place for snow play.

Cougar Crest Trail is a 5.3 mile heavily trafficked out and back trail located near Big Bear Lake, California that features beautiful wild flowers and is rated as moderate. The trail is primarily used for hiking and is best used from March until November.

Cougar Crest TrailCougar Crest Trail is a 5.3 mile heavily trafficked out and back trail located near Big Bear Lake, California that features beautiful wild flowers and is rated as moderate. The trail is primarily used for hiking and is best used from March until November.
This was a nice little place to come and take a walk. Parking was easy to find right on the corner. After walking through the whole marsh we were able to watch the beautiful sunset. Great, beautiful open, outdoor space. Lots of room for walking, running, bicycling, sitting, picnicking, napping, meetings with benches, tables. Some small wildlife, lots of singing birds in the spring.

Stanfield Marsh Wildlife and Waterfowl Preserve

Woodland Trail is a 1.5 mile interpretive loop. This unique nature trail with 16 numbered posts is considered easy, mostly flat with some short ups and downs. Take the self-guided tour where you will learn about botany, geology and the wildlife of this dry woodland area. It takes 45 minutes to an hour to hike the trail. An Adventure Pass or Interagency Pass is required for use of the amenities at the trailhead parking area.
