Built by William Cecil 500 years ago, direct descendants of the Cecil family have passed through sixteen generations and lived in the house ever since. Discover Burghley's history, extensive collections and grandest state rooms on your visit.
Reopened for 2022 (with the Gardens) on Saturday, 19th March. Purchase an admission ticket and return as many times as you like throughout the open season.
